I grew up in a Christian family. My dad is a Pastor.
My parents always brought me to Church every single week. When I was 16 I became suicidal and had an eating disorder.
My life was empty. I decided to have a meeting with my Youth Pastor at the time Rocky Dundas who basically told me that I needed Christ in my life and that I was being selfish. I was totally into myself. I went home that night and accepted Christ into my life. I was baptized a few months later by Rocky.
My life didn't really change though. I was still living in my depression and didn't know how to get out of it. When I was 18 I attempted suicide twice and started to cut myself.
While that same year God brought a man into my life who's name was Christopher Woodworth. We met on the Internet on a Christian server. He talked to me every single day and would often call me. He genuinely cared about me and what was happening. He told me that I was struggling with clinical depression and that I needed antidepressants. He told me that I needed to see a Doctor to get onto them. I went to the Doctor and got onto them. My cutting automatically stopped and my life slowly started to improve.
I have improved so much. I still struggle with depression but not nearly as
bad as I have in the past. God has done a lot of work in me. I'm very thankful
to God.
